I signed the other thread as well (before it was closed...well, we know why).

Its almost impossible to interupt anything.....so I have given up, my mesmer will just stay in hiding until this is resolved one way or another, and as I also mentioned in the other unmentionable thread....
We have yet another almost useless weekend, maybe the devs think that we are losing interest in the game and need more excitement....well this is causing an uproar to say the least, but I would rather them spend their time fixing things than making 'fun' weekends......so Anet----PLEASE fix these problems!
we can do without these weekends if the game runs smoothly THEN add on/try new things ----but until that time, FIX THESE PROBLEMS!

ok, I feel much better now......maybe I should go and cap some skills.....well, gee no more to cap <yawn>......

This weekend came in handy as i wanted some more eiltes, but was getting low on skill points. Just because YOU dont need it, doesnt mean anyone else does either

OMG what's the point of /signing this? Of course everybody woud like to have it working as before. But has any of you thought it may not be as simple as pasting and copying a piece of script?

Think a little bit. What has changed? The skills icons are no longer pre-loaded. ANET did that just before NF preview event. Can't you see the game engine can't handle the several hundreds of new skills coming with NF, and preload them all without causing lag? For that's what will happen if they simply revert it back, and then ya'll /sign another topic about that for sure.

This is a bit annoying when I first pop into a map and my skills load up, but I don'ts ee a problem with the hourglasses while fighting, just get used to reading the skill names rather than knowing them from the icon, I don't know them all by icon yet myself, it isn't that hard to move your eyes over a half inch from where they're looking to read the name of the skill is it?

Regardless, I'm sure it will be figured out soon. It only lasts a few seconds anyway, if it was longer it might stand a chance at being annoying. It kind of reminds me of enchants being set into place not showing up until the second time cast, as long as I know they're there, the graphic really doesn't matter to me. They'll fix it one way or another.
